DIY MailerLite

Here are the step-by-step instructions for setting up your MailerLite Account.
STEPS TO SET UP YOUR MAILERLITE ACCOUNT
  1. Visit this link and create a free account (the free account gives you access to premium features for 30 days. In order to have your blog posts go out automatically to subscribers, however, you will need to upgrade to the Growing Business Plan as soon as your account is approved. See “How To Upgrade” below for more information). You will be taken through a lot of questions about your site and how it is used. Answer truthfully and to the best of your knowledge.
  2. You will need to verify your account. This is done by them sending you an email. Click on the link within the email. 
  3. Continue following the steps / answering questions. 
  4. After you’re done, you may see a yellow bar at the top saying your account is under review. This is normal. It may take a day or two but they will review your account to make sure you are a legitimate person. 
 
HOW TO UPGRADE
In order to use features such as custom templates and automatic RSS you’ll need to upgrade to a paid plan. Once your account has been approved (yellow bar at the top is gone), follow the instructions below.
  1. Click on the “Upgrade” button (which is to the right of the mailerlite logo)
  2. Choose the “Growing Business” plan and follow the steps to purchase the plan.
